Highlight Secure AS started in 2012 when Marvin Nerland began working seriously on the idea of designing a suspension unit that can be screwed directly into the existing cable entry points. This product was named “safety plug”. The fall protection safety plug has the advantage of securing whole lamps without getting in the way of repair and maintenance, which is the main problem with the more or less temporary security solutions currently used. The safety plug provided by Highlight Secure are ATEX and IECEx certified.

The safety plug includes ATEX and IECEx certification, in addition to Ex class Ex II 2G Ex eb IIC Gb/ II 2D Ex tb IIIC Db. IP66/67.
